When a college, employer, or program needs a transcript, the family issues one from that record and the receiver checks it at a link, with no account on their side.

No account and no card are needed to start; add an email when you want it to persist across devices. To go straight to a transcript, open /app/transcript, enter the courses and the evidence behind them, and click "Issue this Witness Transcript™".

Eformogi runs in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), on desktop and mobile. The web app, installable as a PWA, is the product. The earlier browser extension and the iOS app wrapper are retired and not currently shipped.
Families whose kid's learning happens outside a normal school or does not fit a normal transcript: homeschool, microschool, co-op, project-based, mastery-based, Portrait of a Graduate, unschooling, 2e, hospital-school, foster, refugee, gap year, a school that closed. It is also for the schools and counselors who hold those learners and want to issue on a record the learner keeps.
What the student did, as it happens: courses and grades, books finished, projects and work samples, jobs and volunteer hours, expenses for a state ESA or 529 file, and the reflections the student writes. Each piece can be sealed with a SHA-256 hash and gets a short id that anyone can verify without an account.
The learner and their family. Not the school, not the counselor, not us. You hold the keys and the export, and no issuer, receiver, or state ever holds the only copy. That is the first clause of the contract at /sovereignty, and it is the one clause that cannot be negotiated.

Upload a PDF or image of a document (a transcript, a report, an evaluation). An AI vision model reads it and proposes structured fields. You review and confirm each field before anything is saved into the record. You can also type everything by hand and never upload a file.
Yes. A family record holds every student in the household, each with their own timeline, transcripts, and receipts, under one login.
When you issue a transcript, your browser computes a cryptographic fingerprint of every byte in it: the name, the courses, the evidence, the dates. That fingerprint becomes part of the printed document and the verify URL. If anyone alters even one character afterward, the fingerprint no longer matches and the verify page does not show Verified. The seal protects against tampering after issuance. It does not, by itself, prove the courses were taught, and we say so plainly.
An adult who was actually there: a teacher, coach, counselor, mentor, supervisor, co-op parent, employer. They sign a one-line confirmation of what they saw, and that signature becomes its own receipt attached to the course or the work sample.
Open the link in the email, read the one line the family wrote, and either sign it or close the tab. It takes under a minute, needs no Eformogi account, and costs nothing. You get a receipt you can verify yourself afterward. You will not be added to a list, and we do not send reminder chains.
No. Signing what you saw is free, forever, no matter how many students you sign for. Witnessing and issuing are different acts, and only issuing is ever billed.
The verify page shows both openly. A signature names who put their name on a row; it does not overwrite what the family stated. A receiver reading the record sees the family's claim and the signer's words side by side and decides for itself.
Not by themselves today. A witness can dispute their own signature from the verify page: a person reviews every dispute, and nothing changes automatically. The family who holds the record, or the school that issued the underlying row, can withdraw it from verification; the withdrawal is disclosed rather than the signature erased.
A school, microschool, learning network, or counselor practice puts its name on rows in a learner's record: a course it taught, a grade it assigned, a plan it wrote. The row carries the school's name on the verify page. The learner keeps the record around it.
No, and this is the point. An issuer may pay to issue and may never own. The learner holds the keys and the export at all times. If the school stops paying, closes, or the family leaves, the learner keeps everything, including the rows the school declared. It is written into the terms, not only the marketing.
Schools, microschools, and counselors who issue on the record get a free founding year through June 30, 2027, then pay $49 per learner per year, billed to the issuer and never to the family; founding issuers keep that price for as long as they issue, and if an issuer stops paying, its learners keep the record and its export. From the organization dashboard, import a roster (a CSV or a PDF list), which creates a learner for each row and mails each family a claim link. The family claims the record and it becomes theirs. Teachers are invited to witness by role, with no account needed on their side.
Yes. A counselor can witness for free, forever, and can also see a caseload view of the students they work with at /counselors. If you want to issue for that whole caseload, that is the issuer side, priced per learner, and it is never billed to a family.
It is a record a family issued and sealed. Open it and you see the claim, the SHA-256 hash, who signed what, and whether the bytes still match what was issued. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. /for-receivers explains what the seal proves and what it does not.
No. The verify page is free, login-free, and account-free by design. Click the link, read the result, decide. No sign-up, no paywall, no marketing email afterward.
That is the receiver's call, and their own published policy is what answers it. Many colleges, employers, and scholarship programs read family-issued transcripts, especially with portfolios, exam scores, or evaluator letters attached; some require a third-party school of record. We never claim that any particular receiver accepts a record. What we can say is that the document is verifiable at one link, so nobody has to take your word for what it says.
Two ways, depending on the receiver. Issue the transcript, then click "Save / Print PDF" and email or upload that PDF anywhere a normal transcript would go; the verify URL and hash are printed on the last page. Or copy the verify URL and paste it into an email, and the receiver lands directly on the verification page. The PDF is what most offices expect; the URL is what verifiers check.

Families who want the rest of the season's filed paperwork, the four quarterly reports and the annual assessment, and every other state document rendered and filed can add Family Pro for $99 per year, which is included for every learner an issuer enrolls; the enrollment and service-hours letters cost $12 each, the good-student letter is free while insurers are new to family-issued records, and the record itself is never behind any of it.
Each student's first IHIP of the season is free, rendered from the record you already keep. Family Pro renders and files the rest of the season's paperwork from that record: the four quarterly reports, the annual assessment, and the graduation plan in New York, any IHIP after a student's free first one, the PA portfolio and year-end summary, the ESA expense reports, and the 529 expense file for tax time. Every document previews filled in, for free, before you decide to pay. It is included for every learner an issuer enrolls, and families who joined before August 2026 have it included too.
Nothing happens to it. The record, the transcripts, the receipts, and the export are not part of any subscription and never were. Cancelling stops future renewals and stops paid document generation at the end of the period you paid for. You can cancel yourself from Settings, with no email or phone call.

An office that wants a hosted verification service at volume can ask us, and that is the only other place money enters. Being straight about the state of that: Eformogi is pre-revenue. We would rather say so than imply a customer base we do not have.
Other people cannot. Your record is encrypted at rest and scoped to your account by row-level security, so other users have no path to it. We never sell, share, or use your personal data for advertising, and no third party is given access. End-to-end encryption ships today as the opt-in Own Your Keys ceremony; making it the default for every family is on our roadmap. See our Security page.
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Your record is additionally protected by row-level security policies: database queries are scoped to your user ID at the database level. The Own Your Keys ceremony in Settings moves the key into your family's custody, and after it, only your family can unwrap the record.
They are stored encrypted at rest (AES-256) and protected by row-level security, so no other user can reach them, and they are used to extract structured fields into your record. You can view, download, or delete them at any time. When you share with an organization, you choose whether to include the source documents.
Yes. Go to Settings and use account deletion. It permanently removes your data from every table in our database, which is also what GDPR Article 17 (the right to erasure) asks for. Export everything first at eformogi.com/export if you want a copy.
No. We run on providers that publish SOC 2 Type II reports (Supabase for the database, Vercel for hosting), and Eformogi holds no such report of its own. Our own audit is on the roadmap and we are not promising a date. The full posture is at /security/posture.
You can create a share link for any part of your record. Recipients get a read-only view and cannot change anything. Links can expire, can require an access code, and can be revoked at any time.
It can send you a consent request, like a school enrollment form. You see exactly which fields are being asked for, approve or deny, and a consent receipt is generated for both sides. You can revoke consent at any time and the revocation propagates to every copy that checked.
No. Nothing leaves without an explicit act by you or someone you named. Defaults are off, sharing is opt-in per share, and standing authorizations do not exist in this product by design.
With an email sign-in link or a six-digit code sent to your address. There is no password to lose. If you cannot reach the email on the account, write to support@eformogi.com and we will verify you by hand.
From Settings, send an invite. Each adult gets their own login into the same family record, and parents keep control of what the record holds.
Settings, then Manage subscription, which opens our payment provider's portal. Cancel there yourself, with no email or phone call. Access to paid document generation continues to the end of the period you already paid for.
Only if you let one, and only under your rules. Generate a personal API key in Settings, drop it into your agent, and the agent connects through our MCP server at https://eformogi.com/api/mcp with scoped, policy-governed access.
Per category, you set a policy: auto-approve, ask first, or never. The policy engine enforces it on every request. Every action the agent takes is written to your activity feed with a timestamp and scope, and you can revoke any key in one click.
A password gives an agent everything you can see. An Eformogi key is scoped to specific categories, governed by your policy, fully auditable, and revocable instantly. The agent acts through signed consent, not impersonation.
Usually a typo in the URL or an old receipt id. Ask the family for a fresh link; they can re-issue at any time and the new receipt has its own hash.
Make sure you are signed in. The link should show you exactly what the organization is asking for. If it looks broken or expired, contact the organization that sent it. If it keeps failing, tell us at support@eformogi.com.
Extraction works best with clear, high-resolution PDFs; scanned photos are less accurate. You can always correct any field by hand. Official digital copies beat pictures of paper.
Endpoints are rate-limited to protect the service, generally 30 to 60 requests a minute. Wait a minute and try again. If it keeps happening during normal use, contact support.
Eformogi lazy-loads pages to keep the first paint fast, and some pages fetch more data after the initial render. If it is consistently slow, try clearing your browser cache or a different network.
Email bugs@eformogi.com with what happened, the browser you were using, and any error message. Screenshots help a lot. Your report shapes what gets fixed next.
