The pain

Your kid's school doesn't teach in periods, doesn't grade in A–F, and doesn't produce a transcript a receiver recognizes. The school may be brilliant at the actual learning and uninterested in the paperwork — because the paperwork was designed for a different system.

When a college, employer, agency, or program asks for records, the school produces a narrative, a portfolio, a competency rubric, or a Portrait. The receiver tries to translate it back into credit hours. Something gets lost in translation. The kid pays for the friction.

For school operators

If you run an Alpha-style, PBL, or micro-school program: the records office sits with the family, not with you. That is by design. You don't have to be the registrar. You don't have to migrate when a family leaves. You don't have to keep records for seven years after the kid graduates because they live somewhere safer than your filing cabinet.

A print-ready PDF transcript with courses, Portrait competencies, capstone evidence, and a sealed receipt id any college can verify directly. SHA-256 over every byte. No Eformogi account required on the receiver's side.
